Situated on the northwestern side of Kavaratti Island, easily accessible via boat from the Atoll Scuba Dive Center. A dramatic vertical wall dive starting at approximately 7 meters and descending to a maximum depth of 30 meters. The site features underwater caves and overhangs, offering a unique diving experience. Divers can encounter a rich variety of marine species, including humpback red snapper, different types of rays, sea turtles, sharks, nudibranch, and vibrant corals. Wall dive with opportunities to explore small caverns and observe diverse marine ecosystems. The optimal diving season is from December to May, when the waters are calm and visibility is at its best. Recommended for Advanced Open Water Divers due to the depth and complexity of the site.

Turtle Nest is a renowned dive site situated off the coast of Kavaratti Island. The site features a gentle slope descending to approximately 18 meters (59 feet), making it suitable for divers of various experience levels. As the name suggests, Turtle Nest is famous for its abundance of sea turtles. Divers can also encounter with green turtles, hawksbill turtles, humpback red snappers, moray eels, and a variety of other marine species in this vibrant ecosystem. Sea Fan Garden(NIOT) is one of the prominent dive sites around Kavaratti Island, the capital of Lakshadweep. The site is renowned for its expansive coral gardens, particularly the presence of large sea fans (gorgonians) that sway gracefully with the currents. These structures provide shelter and feeding grounds for various marine species. Di species. Clari’s Garden is one of Kavaratti’s most beautiful & accessible reef dives, ideal for divers seeking vibrant coral life and diverse marine encounters. Located just a short boat ride from Atoll Scuba’s base, the site is named for its abundant Clarias soft corals & colorful garden like formations that stretch across the reef slope. Rich Coral Habitat: A lush spread of hard and soft corals including table corals, sea fans, & feather stars creates a vivid underwater landscape. Frequent sightings of green turtles, parrotfish, angelfish, fusiliers, & moray eels. Lucky divers may spot reef sharks or eagle rays cruising along the edge. Sheltered from strong currents, Clari’s Garden is a favorite among Open Water divers & snorkelers. It also provides great opportunities for macro photography.

Up to 30 meters (approx. 98 feet), accommodating both novice and experienced divers. Suitable for all levels, from beginners to advanced divers. The optimal diving season at Harbour Mouth spans from October to March, when sea conditions are calm, & visibility is at its peak, allowing divers to fully appreciate the vibrant marine life & intricate coral structures.

Small Gate is a calm, colorful, & richly biodiverse dive site on the outer reef of Kavaratti. Known for its easy conditions and healthy coral formations, it’s a favorite among new divers, underwater photographers, and anyone who wants a relaxed yet rewarding reef dive. Located near a narrow break in the reef structure (hence the name), Small Gate offers a gentle slope dotted with coral heads, gorgonians, & soft coral gardens making it one of the best sites for close marine life encounters & vibrant reef scenery. Moray eels, cleaner shrimp, nudibranchs, scorpionfish, & octopuses tucked into crevices. Butterflyfish, angelfish, wrasses, parrotfish, groupers, & schooling fusiliers. Green & hawksbill turtles are frequently spotted grazing among the coral patches. Occasional sightings of stingrays resting on sandy patches near the reef base. Small Gate is the ideal site for divers looking for a relaxed, intimate encounter with the reef where every inch of coral holds a surprise.

South Tip is one of Kavaratti’s premium dive sites of asia offering breathtaking topography, deep walls, & the chance to encounter big pelagic life. Located at the exposed southern end of the atoll, this site is known for its dynamic underwater currents, large coral structures, & spectacular schooling fish. Dramatic drop offs, sloping reefs. The reef wall plunges down into the blue, creating a thrilling dive environment. Giant trevallies, tuna, & barracuda, Reef sharks, Napoleon wrasses, groupers, & snappers. Occasional manta ray or eagle ray sightings during plankton rich currents. Abundant reef life surgeonfish, wrasse, & butterflyfish crowd the coral edges. October to May offers the most reliable conditions with calm seas and peak visibility. Drift dive with natural current assisted movement along the reef slope or wall stronger currents can occur during new and full moon phases, which can enhance pelagic sightings. Stick close to the reef to manage the current, and keep your eyes out in the blue for large predators and pelagic fish
